Water Hammer Arresters, Series C and LFC

SURGEx-C SeriesSURGEx-C / -LFC series is a piston operated, water hammer arrester fabricated from hard drawn seamless copper with NPT or BSP threaded male end connections. SURGEx C arresters are available in sizes from 1/2" to 2". SURGEx C are designed and manufactured in accordance to the recent international standards and requirements of water hammer arresters. SURGEx-LFC are Lead Free.

FEATURES AND BENIFITS
  • Seamless body fabricated from hard drawn copper to guarantee the smooth movement of the piston at all time.
  • Designed for installation with no access panel required.
  • May be installed in new or existing domestic and commercial plumbing systems with a standard pipe tee.
  • Factory pre-charged at 60 PSI (4.2 BAR) and hermetically sealed. No need to charge it after installation.
  • Lead Free brass adapter for drinking water.

SURGEX-C series is a pre-charged, piston operated, water hammer arrester (surge pressure absorber). SURGEx-C series is fabricated from hard drawn copper and fitted with a PP piston. The end connecion is solid hex male adaptor, threaded according to NPT or BSP.

MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTIONS
  • Body: Hard drawn seamless copper barrel
  • Piston: PP
  • O-ring: EPDM
  • Seal Lubricant: Dow-Corning Silicone compound, FDA approved for use in potable water systems
  • Adapter: Brass (Lead Free option is available for drinking water).

OPERATING CONDITIONS

  • Pressure range: Up to 350 PSI (24 BAR)
  • Temperature range: 33°F to 250°F (0.5°C to 121°C)
